The ASV Sections are where a member with a particular interest can meet with others of similar interests and engage in relevant activities or observations.

The strength of a large Society like the ASV is that it can have many Sections which still have viable numbers of members.

The overall Council of the ASV consists of the Section Directors, the Office Bearers, the immediate past President and six elected members.
